Help Desk Operative (Planned & Reactive Maintenance)
Location: Cheadle
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Salary: £25,000--£27,000 pa

We are a family-owned business looking for a Help Desk Operative to join our small, friendly team. This is a varied role where you’ll play a crucial part in coordinating planned and reactive maintenance requests while also assisting with basic office administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming maintenance requests and scheduling planned and reactive works.
Liaising with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely responses.
Maintaining accurate records and updating job logs.
Assisting with general office admin tasks as required.
Providing excellent customer service and problem-solving on the spot.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication skills with a proactive and confident approach.
Previous experience in a help desk or administrative role, ideally in FM or property management.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a small team environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
IT literate with experience using job logging systems (training provided if needed).
