With a growing portfolio of exciting projects and clients, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the experienced project and commercial teams, supporting the cost management of fit-out projects from inception to completion. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Supporting the evaluation of project costs and providing accurate estimates
• Monitoring project costs and maintaining budget control
• Working with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Measuring and valuing completed work and assisting in the preparation of interim and final accounts
• Assisting with procurement processes to secure best value on materials and subcontractors
• Helping to prepare financial reports and ensuring clear documentation is maintained
• Supporting the identification and mitigation of project risks

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (desirable but not essential)
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the fit-out or construction sector
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with construction contracts and cost management software is a plus
• Experience or an understanding of the retail, hospitality, leisure, or healthcare sectors is desirable
