Quantity Surveyor – Retail Fit-Out & Construction
📍 Yorkshire (Hybrid – minimum 1 day per week in the office)

We’re working with a well-established and steadily growing retail fit-out and construction contractor based in Yorkshire, who are looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

With a turnover of circa £60 million, the business delivers projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £2 million, typically working on a schedule of rates basis. You’ll be joining a settled, collaborative team and will be responsible for multiple live projects at any one time, ensuring they are commercially managed from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the commercial aspects of multiple fit-out and construction projects concurrently
Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts
Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure financial control and cost efficiency

About You:

Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or retail fit-out
Confident managing schedule of rates projects and multiple jobs simultaneously
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Able to attend the Yorkshire-based office at least once per week
