M&E Planner

Construction Planner – London - £75,000 - £90,000 & Travel

We are currently recruiting for a M&E Planner for a specialist mechanical and electrical contractor in the city. This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be working on packages across apartments, offices, commercial sectors. My client has been established for over 50 years and has multiple long term framework agreements and a full order book of work for at least the next 2 years.

 

M&E Planner Role:

  • Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works
  • To liaise with the Client, contractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings
  • Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress
  • Provide the planning service on tenders and projects
  • Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract
  • Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme
  • Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team
  • Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.
  • Implement Company procedures
  • Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes
  • Maintain the as-built programme

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a Planner role
  • Proficient in either ASTA/Primavera / P6
  • Confidence to oversee several project simultaneously
  • M&E Packages from £5M - £30M
