Technical Manager (Passive Fire Protection)
Salary: £48,000 - £54,000
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently looking for a skilled Technical Manager with a solid background in passive fire protection and fire safety systems to join a respected leader in the sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical operations and providing expert guidance across fire protection projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical team, ensuring the efficient delivery of passive fire protection solutions.
  • Provide expert technical advice on fire safety measures, including passive fire protection and fire door compliance.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of fire safety plans and strategies.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory standards, managing compliance and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored fire safety solutions.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with project managers and surveyors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in fire safety technologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in passive fire protection, including fire stopping and fire doors.
  • Proven track record in technical management, ideally within the fire safety or construction sectors.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in fire safety (e.g., Passive Fire Protection, Fire Door Inspections).
  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
