Design Co-Ordinator – Office Fit Out

£40,000 - £45,000 + package

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a premier provider of office fit outs across the UK.

They are looking for a Design Coordinator, who will manage the design aspects of design and build construction projects to ensure that projects meet client specification requirements/scope and adhere to all building regulations/standards, planning requirements etc

 

The Duties

  • Create finished scope & deliverables docs from initial client brief to financial close
  • Produce Product specific documents, visuals and mood boards
  • Present design meetings with stakeholders & client engagements
  • Manage Multiply projects and ensure cost compliance
  • Review pre-tender project details
  • Assess internal and external deign resource requirements
  • Attend meetings throughout project lifecycle
  • Upload drawing information to client portals
  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies.
  • Administer design subcontract including assessing monthly invoices for payment.
  • Implement corrective measures for identified distractions or issues.
  • Arranging and chairing the Design team meetings to lead the process with consultants and subcontract designers, issuing minutes and ensuring the resulting actions are actioned
  • Carry out technical reviews of any proposed works to ensure contractual and technical compliance.
  • Provide design support to Project Management teams

 

The Requirements

  • Experience working on Office Fit Out projects is preferred
  • Able to confidently work on own initiative and within a team
  • Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD, and MS Project are highly desirable
  • Confident liaising with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
  • Experience on a range of industries and experience with various Electrical packages and general building services installations.
  • An enthusiastic approach with a determination to surpass our clients’ expectations.
  • Experience in producing calculations, analysis reports, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents.
  • High level of computer (IT) literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to produce, format and manage Microsoft Office documents (Word & Excel)

 

The Package

  • £30,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience).
