John Lugsden, Director, completes London Marathon

Last Sunday, 21st April 2024, our Director, John Lugsden, took to the streets of London to take part in the 44th London Marathon.

When the business was formed one of its 4 core values was to support the local and national community and this was demonstrated by our desire to raise a substantial amount of money for our chosen charity. Whilst the minimum raise was £2,000 we were determined to do better than this and as we write 27th April, the total amount raised stands at £3,314.

We were raising money for Tommy's (https://www.tommys.org) who raise money to fund research into baby loss and premature birth. We are sure that everyone reading this will know at least one family affected by this and we were delighted to support them.

Whilst time doesn't really matter, the main thing was definitely being able to support such a great cause, John completed the course in 4 hours 13 minutes.
